I think I'll enjoy this more than Gran Torino since he doesn't sound like he's been gargling gravel. The only thing wrong is that techno song, hopefully that is just the result of an awful job by the people who cut the trailer and not from the movie.

This movie does look good...I can't remember the last movie Michael Caine carried by himself.

Seriously? Hannah & Her Sisters? I don't really think he's played a pure bad--- since Get Carter.

I freaking love Michael Caine. And yes, this looks infinitely better than Gran Torino. I'm definitely excited to see this.

Great trailer looks badass, but We all know that Clint Eastwood's character in Gran Torino will Kick Caine's ass any day... You don't mess with Eastwood!!!

It looks pretty good, but why all the hate for Gran Torino?

This looks much better than Gran Torino (though, admittedly, that trailer looked promising too).

The accepted wisdom of overt racism, culminating in the barbershop scene, for one. Hey, look, terrible racial stereotypes are high-larious.

The ending, for another. Giant, gaping plot hole:

The movie spends an hour and a half pointing out that the Hmong enclave are very tightly knit, and never rat on each other to the outside world (even when a main character is horrifically raped). Eastwood's character dies provoking the gang members while unarmed, arms hanging Jesus-like, because he's really really confident that the Hmongs will suddenly ignore this rule and call the cops to finger his killers.

Why didn't he just make sure and shoot the gang members, then off himself, if he was feeling suicidal?
Third: the whole movie. It was the anti-Unforgiven.
