What I'm telling you is that tracy never really liked playing with rafer. From the time brooks entered the picture, he thought brooks was the better fit. Having a natural scorer like brooks vs a natural pg non shooter like rafer was a easy choice. The team played just as good if not better with brooks in and rafer out. With rafer and tracy both needing the ball or wanting it to start the offense, it was a conflict. Then Artest enters the picture and now its artest and rafer vs tracy. Well, since Les Loves tracy and its not like rafer didn't have his issues off the court, they found a way to get value. Then with the offseason, Artest is gone also. Say what you will about tracy, but the guy has been good on the court and a good citizen off it as well. That goes a long way with owners and gm's. I highly doubt that if Iverson were a better player off the court, he would still be there waiting on a deal.

 

This is funny stuff, second only to that Soup Commander in Chief piece.

I had to take that with such a large grain of salt I had to give it to my horse.

 

I understand the Mcgrady hate, but there was a time when dumb rumors would be criticized on this board, much less posted. Sadly that doesn't seem to be the case anymore.

 

It's possible that this is true but all is speculation until word from a more reliable source comes out. I could actually picture McGrady doing that which counters his sayings that he doesn't care about the people who criticize him and how he says he doesn't pay any attention to any of that stuff. I believe he does care about how people view him even if he won't admit it, and for his sake and the team's sake, I hope he has a productive year playing within Adelman's system so we can surprise some folks yet again.

i'm a big tmac fan. plenty of other teams fans would LOVE to have tmac on their team. if his ego was hurt by people talking ****, tmac woulda retired by now.
