Austin GDC is going on, and as part of my job, I get to partake.

Last night, I partook....and today, I am parPAYING for it.

Any good cures for a hangover? Other than..."hair of the dog"?

Kettle one....you are thine enemy !!

Drink water throughout the evening. 1 glass for every two drinks.

At the end of the evening, drink a liter of water and take a multivitamin along with drinking a glass of Alka-Seltzer Cold medicine.

Right when you wake up, pop two Aleve/Advil and drink another glass of Alka-Seltzer Cold Plus medicine.

Works like a charm and rids 90% of your hangover. Worked for me last weekend

Hangovers are the main reason why I stopped partying/drinking. I still do it on the very rare occasion.

The best cure or prevention for hangovers, IMO, is being in great shape. Your body can handle more punishment. The more I let myself go over the years, the worse my hangovers became. Also, I'm sure, aging has something to do with it.

However, since that's not an instant cure, I second the alka-seltzer cold. In fact, I've seen an alka-seltzer for just hangovers recently in the store. And tons of juice. One of those V8 multi veggie-juice things is awesome. Or Odawalla Superfood. Your body is dehydrated and wants vitamins and minerals to replace what the alcohol took out.

This always works for me, but I like to add just a touch of cat urine.

Sorry, DD. My post was about preventing them the night before, which is too late for you. If you are already in pain, there is only one solution. It's awful, but works

When you are heating up 3 day old mac n cheese and sausage at 1am, knowing you have to get up at 6:30am, you are in serious trouble.

Voodoo Pope has something he stands by, some kind of whataburger with hash browns on it or something.

I hear the best thing is crackers and honey and a little sunshine.

I am still feeling hungover and I got wasted Saturday night. I am actually a little worried. It comes and goes though. When I burp I can still taste the vodka.

coconut water. it has tons of natural electrolytes and a lot less sugar than gatorade. or, if you're seriously jacked up, drink pediolyte.
