Okay I write movie screenplays it's kind of a side thing. And I just finshed another one, it's called "THE Paperboy", and I was wondering if any of you guys would be interested in reading it and telling me what you think. It's a comedy about this guy who works as animator for a game company and then he loses his wife and his job and they won't let him see his son and finally out of desperation he takes a job as a paperboy. If you want to read it I can email the script to you. Thanks
ugh. not another geek-loses-job-and-wife-and becomes-a-paperboy movie. are there no original ideas left? good luck with it!
I haven't seen that movie what was the title or are you just being smart outlaw. And there are only 36 ideas so you just have to repeat them.
was just kidding OMR. Did anyone watch Stolen Summer? (The movie that was made for the Project Greenlight contest) I saw about 30 minutes of it while waiting for another movie to start. It looked OK. Might be a good rental.
I always check IMDB before I start a script and you always find something that is similar to your idea but It was never a movie just a series and fortunately I never saw it so my script is my original idea and it's for the big screen and not TV. Thanks for the feedback tbagain...
Very cool Outlaw. I never saw stolen summer but I did watch every episode of the HBO special. It didn't do so well at the box office.
Not to be confused with the William Katt horror "The Paperboy" though. Either way I'd love to check it out. You have to keep tabs on the competiton. deanbcurtis@mac.com
Thanks guys for all the positive responses. I didn't expect as many... I decided I should probably register it with the writers guild first and then send it . I'll do that online tonight. Thanks again
I have some minor connections in the movie industry, and one of the guys I hooked up just sold his first script with a guaranteed 2 rewrites to Ridley Scott. I will read it, and if I like it, I will be happy to pass it on... DaDakota ericp@feverpitchstudios.com
