Meh. Mine involves McGrady coming back, looking impressive the first half of the season. Then, with no warning at all, Morey trades away his ass at the deadline. Though we end up as the 9th seed in the West, thanks to Scola, Brooks (Most Improved Player) Battier and Ariza (2nd Team All-Defense). Over the course of the season, Budinger involves into an amazing sharp-shooter, whilst Andersen proves himself a capable back-up. Taylor and Pops turn out ok.

Then, in the 2010 free agency, the Rockets manage to attract Bosh's attention, and after weeks of intense negotiating, Chinese Shoe Deals, and promises of good ol' Texan BBQ, he decides to come down. Yao comes back healthy as ever, and with Bosh beside him, they form a new "Twin Towers".

    Brooks/Lowry
    Ariza/Budinger/Taylor/
    Battier/White
    Bosh/Scola/Landry/Hayes
    Yao/Andersen/Pops/Dorsey

The Rockets fight hard in the 10-11 Western Conference, but only manage an eight seed playoff spot. Then, after a thrilling Battier speech that is taped, posted, and then worshiped nigh religiously here, the Rockets become the second team in NBA history to advance to the NBA Finals as a #8 seed. In a grueling 7-game series against Cleveland, the Rockets win their 3rd Championship due to a Yao Ming fade-away over a stunned Shaq. The Rockets become heroes to Houstonians, and epitomize the true meaning of 'underdog' and show that they, like their counterparts from '94 and '95 have the 'heart of a champion'.

Yao and Bosh both earns spots on All-NBA teams, while Battier finally gets to be on the 1st Team All Defense. And for once, the BBS has peace.

Yao opts out of his contracts. Does team a favor and signs for vets minimum.
T-mac can't find a suitor and resigns for MLE.

    Scola is retained.
    Trade brooks for Marc Gasol

    Walls/Lowry
    Battier/T-mac
    Lebron/Ariza
    Scola/Landry
    Yao/Gasol

Francis returns as a 3rd string pt gaurd/head coach

My dream scenario is that we get stoudamire, or Hakeem finds the fountain if youth shares with Clyde and Samson and come back

    Brooks/Lowry
    Clyde/Taylor
    Tracy/Trevor
    Yao/Stoudamire
    Hakeem/Samson

    Landry, Scola come in wherever
    Battier becomes an assistant coach

Oh and T-Mac is 110% healthy ( yea I know Tracy healthy is a farfetched dream but I can dream right?)

I could only dream Hakeem gets back into shape and rejoin the Rockets only to dominate Pau Gasol in the WCF. Averages about 40pts, 20rebs, 8asts, 4stls, 10blks. Then another 4-0 for the Magic fans.

The basketball gods finally get tired of screwing the Rockets and move on to something "fresh"......like the Thunder.

for mine, it is not a big dream..

Rockets clinch a playoff seed without their superstars
AB, Chase, Taylor, Anderson, Ariza, Lowry, Scola trade value increase!
package them for a superstar and replace T-Mac by another superstars

My dream scenario is an end to all the tank talk.

As some of us well know, tanking the season for an inknown commodity is not smart.

Really the dream scenario (out of current Rockets) would be a healthy Yao, a more developed Brooks, a nice sixth-man in Ariza, a unselfish and healthy T-mac who actually cares about the game, Battier just how he is but more points wouldn't hurt, and a nice power foward, maybe Andersen or pops.

Our most realistic dream scenario (and yes I know that is an oxymoron) is to swoop in to clean up the financial debacle that becomes the New Orleans Hornets, if their team happens to fall short of expectations during the course of the season and they decide that rebuilding beats bankruptcy.

    T-Mac (23.2M), Brooks (1.1M), and Cook (3.5M) = 27.8M, 26.7 of which is expiring.

    for

    Hilton Armstrong (2.8M), Peja (14.2M), and CP3 (13.5M) = 30.5M.

Our team by the time Yao returns would be

    CP3/Lowry
    Ariza/Peja
    Battier/Budintaylor
    Scola/Landry
    Yao/Armstrong

Heck, sub Yao/Armstrong out for Armstrong/Andersen and that team could get to the conference finals THIS year.

dream scenario we get tmac back to playing as if him and kobe were battling for #1 again...then its just like trevor is playing with kobe again only he has more confidence and scores more, we lost our big man, but now we don't have to see the atrocious entry passes anymore!

    This upcoming year:
T-mac leads the team back to the playoffs with a low seed.
Yao returns and they become the black horses again possibly fighting their way to the finals.
