I just heard a rumor that Kris Jenkins went to Taco Bell and ate 5 nachos bell grandes, then he returned and went into the Texans' locker room and sat on Chris Myers' face bare ass. Reportedly he had a nasty case of the bubble guts all over Myers' face, which might be an improvement if you've seen Chris Myers.
hey Ashes, quit your b****in son. Let us Texans fans express our disgust and frustration here, and why don't you go celebrating the beauty of life and looking for positives in today's game? the weather is awesome, we have a cool president, it's not raining today! get busy man, leave us the hell alone..
Yeah i'm with you man, i expected to see some sacks, hard hits and some fumbles but i didn't see any of that wit our defense. It did look alittle better though i must say but since the offense couldn't so anything the D just ran out of gas and started making stupid mistakes. They better show us something next game or i may have to find someone to buy my tickets for the jacksonville game
But that's what the zone blocking scheme is all about. You can have guys that have no business being on an NFL-calibur offensive line, and put them there because of this zone blocking scheme, see.... and then they'll run the ball and score the points like noone's ever seen!
How could the Texans be so lifeless? I keep coming back to that. They played like a team that doesn't respect their coach. Yes, I think that's it, and I think it's going to get worse.
Sorry about that premature post. I agree I'm seriously thinking he just might not be what we need in a coach. I have supported him but things are starting to pile up on him. It's not just because of this game although having all of preseason to get ready should be enough. No excuses accepted this time
Would that not mean you are the ones b****ing then? Some fans choose to harshly criticize their team, others don't. I can respect your choice to do so, but if you cannot offer me the same, then you don't have to talk to me.
I looked at it more as they knew the Jets had their number today.... from play ONE. They knew that they'd never seen any of these blitz packages... and even if they had, it seems like they knew that there were no plays in the playbook to counter it. Coaches get a bad rap often times... but this one was definitely on the offensive side (which includes Kubiak). They had no preparation for what the Jets were going to do. Its like they said "We are going to run our game plan and force them to adjust, no matter what." I'm all for believing in your own talent... but when it becomes obvious that the other team has your number, you have to change something. Either that, or it was a gross over-estimation of our talent.
The Predictable Interview "Well Bob, we certainly have some things to work on, we just need to get better. You have to give credit to the Jets and their young QB, they were great. We just could never get going. We will just keep working hard and....." Translation Bob, I am about to get fired because I can't get the right play called to save my life; my teenage offensive coordinator was a favor, but I'm really in trouble because my players can't feed off my lack of emotion. I obviously have no one who can evaluate talent in the draft and when you have no defense and no offense, well, I may be bye bye soon.
you're entitled to your opinion, no doubt. i'm just not sure what it is. what exactly was said by someone in the media that you didn't agree with?? what was said by anyone here regarding how the texans played that you didn't agree with?
I like kub but the blame has to go somewhere and my blame goes on the offensive line. I don't know what was going on with them but they looked confused. There should be no more playoff talk around that dam locker room
it's only one game. This mentality has got to go. It's a losers mentality. It's something Houston sports fans have been conditioned to accept. Maybe we're expecting too much from this team? Maybe we're not ready. One thing is sure, we were outplayed/outcoached today. Bob McNair spews rhetoric about "ACCOUNTABILITY" well why don't we start with this sorry excuse for a coaching staff. When you have insanely talented potential HOF'ers like Johnson and Williams you almost have a RESPONSIBILITY to put them in a situation to succeed and win, not only for us fans, but for football in general. It's time to hold the ownership accountable. Go out and spend some money on some real coaches instead of throwing money away to the likes of ANTONIO SMITH. hell we could go 13-3 and it's only one game. It won't happen. Playoffs? PLAYOFFS?
except that no one disrespected your choice to be a homer and overly happy and enthusiastic about this awesome loss! you're the one who keeps chasing around madmax asking him to post happy quotes when we hypothetically win next week.. cheers!
