McCants already had a change of scenery. They traded him to Sacramento.

The bucks did not match the offer.

I have to say Im shocked I thought for sure they would match. I guess the bucks feel good about Luke and Brandon.

I though for sure they would try to work a sign and trade with some one since sessions does have value.

The Wolves have done well. The Bucks will realize their mistake in letting him go IMO.

Brandon will probably turn out to be a good player, but I think Sessions should have been their starter.

I think Sessions has more up side then Jennings but time will tell. I still shocked that the bucks let him walk for nothing. Its not like the bucks have cap problems they could have signed him and delt after the waiting period and picked up maybe a first or second round pick.

Perhaps after seeing Sessions up close and personal for 2 years, the Bucks realize they aren't losing that much. Even Andrew Bogut said a few days ago he didn't expect the Bucks to match and that Sessions got a "very nice" contract from the T-Wolves. If Sessions had so much promise, seems like Bogut would have had a little regret about him likely leaving. (Sorry I don't have the link. Just tried to find it with a quick Google search and could not).

When I think of the NBA summer of 2009, the Sessions hoopla here will come to mind first.

Good point. I'll probably forget about Sessions when the Ricky Rubio Show opens in the NBA.

Every time I read something Bogut's said, it's always negative and taking shots at somebody. He looks like a horrible teammate. And HA! at him talking about "very nice" contracts.

Sessions will always be a 2nd tier PG,but he is good enough to be a starter. He doesn't have much upside, but he will become a more steady 1 with experience.

What I'll remember about 2009 is how the NBA money spigot got shut off and players like Iverson and Marbury coming off of huge contracts could only find teams offering vet min contracts. Will that change in 2010 when more teams will have cap space or is this a sea change happening in the NBA that will affect players salaries and signings.

Shocked that The Bucks let Sessions go.

    They are either:

    1) Confident in what they have

    or

    2) Seriously committed to cutting payroll at all costs.

    thankfully, this is over.

...until the board adopts a new 'great hope' in the illustrious line of jiri welsch, marko jaric, and now ramon sessions.

Ha, that's what you think. Sessions is now a martyr. Every time we talk about the job Morey has done as a GM, they'll talk about the non-deal mistake that was Sessions, even remembering advantageous trade scenarios and/or free agent interest that we don't currently know about. You have not heard the last of Ramon Sessions.

He didn't mean it that way. He just knows the Bucks don't want to add more payroll.
