Why is everyone expecting little from Ariza(ok 15-16ppg isn't little) but he can prove to do alot with adelman's fast paced player friendly system.

Man, I actually thought about this--and realized I can't even predict what this year's roster's gonna be.

I just put down the top 10...

    Landry - 13 ppg
    Battier - 7 ppg

    Tmac - 35
    Brooks - 14
    Scola - 12
    Ariza - 17
    Landry - 15
    Battier - 9
    Lowery - 7
    Anderson - 5
    Taylor - 6

    NBA Final
    Yao - 35

do you really think the rockets are only going to score 74 points a game???? Dont forget that tmac will avg at least 22 ppg when he comes back..that gives us 96ppg....more reasonable...dont you think?

    Brooks- 19.8 ppg
    Scola - 16.5 ppg
    Ariza - 13 ppg
    Landry - 12.5 ppg
    Budinger - 9.9 ppg
    Battier - 9.8 ppg
    Lowry - 9.5 ppg
    Taylor- 8.9 ppg
    Andersen - 6.3 ppg
    Pops - 3.5 ppg
    Dorsey - 2.4 ppg
    Hayes - 2.3 ppg

    McGrady? 24.6

All of these players will not play 82 games. Their scoring averages are for games played individually. Adding up all the individual averages will not give you the team's scoring average.

So, yeah I do not believe the team will score 130 points a game or whatever this adds up to..

If Ariza gets 15+ ppg with a 45%+FG then he will have been a free agent of great value.

Not if teams figure out how to trap him like the Lakers did, then he will crash and burn....

I doubt it. Lowry doesn't look to score as much as AB and he's not a good shooter. His career high was 9.6 ppg two seasons ago, but he was also a part-time starter in Memphis. Plus like you said, being a more traditional point guard, he will look to set up his teammates rather than score a lot of points.

Scola played with Yao, Tmac, and Artest more and also Brooks last season...he was usually the 4th scoring option.

Landry off the bench is was only behind Wafer as a scoring option...more opportunities for him to score in his short time on the court than Scola playing with the starters.
