If you had a wish list, and a Santa Claus owner like Cuban, what trade(s) would you make to make the Rockets a contender next season? No Moochie for Shaq crap, either. For example: would you do a KT, Mobley, Rice, and Eddie for a Garnett?
Those contracts still don't add up to what Garnett's is worth. Also, would we wipe out so many players for one guy. Who would play the 2? How would we pay everybody else. Garnett is untradable. I don't see us making any trades. Rudy did say today that the Rockets were going to add a FA to the roster. Alexander said that it would be ok to pay the luxery tax. So, it could be a good player who might be worth more than the MLE. I don't know who it could be. I'd like to add Michael Redd because he is a damn good shooter. Remember when he tourched the Rockets earlier this year? Who knows what might happen though? It's gonna be a hell of a summer.
Yeah, Redd would be fine. I dunno, though. Would you move Francis for a blue-chip 4/5 like Garnett? Hell, they're both a the max. If your front court's badass, you could make due with a mid-tier back court. Here's one for 'ya........ would 'ya trade Mobley and Eddie for Odem?
My wish list is two deep -- Keon and Kristie -- great Kreme for this team, bith of their teams are luxury-ed out...how? dunno, for sure...but start w/Cato -- he's tall. Someone WILL take a shot at him and Mo -- Seattle wanted him last year...so, Cato to Knicks for Othella and Knight. Othella and KT for a sign'n'trade Clark; then Knight and Chi's two #2s we're owed for Cristie? We'd be 4th best in league (oops, the top three are all in the West)...
The only person Minnesota is looking to trade is Szerb-i-a???. . . Wally. They feel like all they need is a PG. Even if Steve makes the max, isn't KG's contract still bigger. What he signed was before the strike, hell, it's the reason there was a lockout. Still, I look at this roster and I would like to add Redd to back up Cat and I think we need a physical forward or center. A bruiser who is there for rebounds and defense. I don't know who that is though. I would think Oakley would be the best fit, but he will probably end up in LA. Malik Rose is a possibility.

I think the only trade I would do is if you could somehow unload Mo Taylor, and get a first round pick and expiring contracts out of it.
