How about trading KT for a 1st rounder next year. This would give us a 1st rounder since we wont have ours next year. Also, it gives our other forwards more playing time. If we trade KT for a player, then we will need to still divide the minutes between the new player and the players that are on the team now. I want EG to play as much as possible, and as long as KT is on the team, EG's minutes will go down.

Question is, whose 1st rounder do we want? I'd say Denver's is looking pretty good about now... :)

I'm not sure about giving up KT. He is the workhorse of the team. He comes to play every night even when the season was over. He's not afraid to mix it up with anybody and thats what the rockets frontline needs right now. I wouldnt do it.

The 1st rounder would probably be lottery protected. Somewhere around 15 would be nice, IMO.

Keep the team intact. Give this team a chance.

Ditch KT, and let Griffin develop. We are stuck with Taylor, and there was barely enough minutes for Griffin last year.

KT is much, much, much better than the average first rounder pans out to be after the first 10 or so picks. Which we'd never get for him, since everyone dreams of finding Paul Pierce.

kt will not be traded until latter in the season. mo is suspended to start and coming back from a major injury(as is rice). they will wait to see how these players are doing before he will be considered for trade IMO

I would wait to trade KT until he either requests it or we can get something of major value.

That'd mean Odom is worth 2 mid-first rounders. LOL.

KT is currently our only dependable 4. MoT is still questionable and it's too early to depend on Griff. Unless something comes up too good to pass up (which is unlikely since KT's contract is currently so small), then you gotta keep KT until somebody else proves to be reliable.

    Keep KT. Trade Mo T.

Maurice Taylor + Tito Maddox = Robert Horry + Mitch Richmond

    Lakers
    SF: Fox/George/T. Murray
    PF: Taylor/Walker
    C: O'Neal/Medvedenko
    PG: Fisher/Maddox
    SG: Bryant/Rush

    Rockets
    SF: Nachbar/Horry/Rice
    PF: Griffin/Thomas
    C: Ming/Cato
    PG: Francis/Norris
    SG: Mobley/Richmond

Not no, but hell no! Horry doesn't play until the playoffs. We're not even a lock to get in the playoffs. I like MoT better because he's more productive.

Next year's draft pool looks extremely weak. Better to keep Kenny around another year. 2003 draft may end up like the infamous 2000 draft.

Neither team makes out in that trade. Mitch is about done. Horry is purely for teams going DEEP into the POs.

Lakers need a starting 4 who can double as a backup 5. Defensive minded who BOARDS and does the dirty work. MoT is too offensive minded and soft on D. Too small. Has star contract and attitude without the star talent imo.
