I know pretty much what we're looking for in the lottery, but who do you think will be there in the second round at #38? Should we try to get a project big man (especially if Cato is gone)?

An interesting prospect at big man I see would be Dan McClintock.....7'0'' out of Northern Arizona. I'll admit I haven't seen him play (didn't get around to watching Northern Arizona...did anyone?) but here's what I know

    -over a 30 inch vertical (that's not a typo....and, yes, he's 7'0'' tall
-had the fastest 100 yd (? maybe it was the 40) on his team

    STATS:
In 24.3 minutes per game, he averaged 15.6 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists, with 2.26 blocks per game, with a whopping 59.7 FG%

Again, I can only make assumptions he has decent defense based on the amount of blocks and rebounds he had in his time. 15.6 ppg isn't that bad either. Something must be poor about him, I think agressiveness, to make him a 2nd rounder, which he is.

If I remember Dan Mc isn't a stick either. He's well over 250 pounds if I remember correctly. Hadn't heard that bit about his verticle and speed. He sounds very interesting.

It depends on who's left. I would not pick for need, but the best athlete available, especially if someone has somehow dropped. Here's some possibles. I would go down the list and pick who's left on the top of that list.

    <OL>[*] Mario Austin
    [*] Jason Kapono
    [*] Chris Porter
    [*] Mamadou N'diaye
    [*] Jamaal Magliore
    [*] Jabari Smith
    [*] Mark Madsen
    [*] Eduardo Najera
    [*] Pete Mickeal
    [*] Harold Arceneaux
    [*] Jake Voskuhl
    [*] Dan McClintock
