In early July, a land owner in the town of Hamilton near West Salem discovered a patch of mar1juana plants growing on his rural property, he called police, who installed a surveillance camera in a nearby tree. When the suspected gardener showed up to tend his plants at about 4 a.m., he apparently noticed the camera and climbed the tree in an apparent attempt to disable it. He failed, and the camera snapped a picture of his face. La Crosse Area Crime Stoppers is looking for help identifying the man. Investigators believe his first name may be Jeff. link
I don't know if I designate this a complete fail on Jeff's part. He saw the camera at 4am? Sharp eye. Sounds more like the police failed to hide the thing.

It's one of these caps with LED lights built into the brim. Or was your question just a clever ruse to smoke out the culprit?
With such sharp eyes, he should have shot it down. I am surprised he didn't come back with a gun. He proved one thing. mar1juana really does improve night vision.
