Well it's that time of the year again where all the songs in my iPod are outdated and old, so I'm going to be filling it with whatever is good. Problem is, I don't keep up with the music industry, so I don't know which songs are good or not. So if you could be kind, please post all the songs that you enjoy in this thread.

Thanks for the song suggestions guys. .... Well, not once a year. Pretty close to it though, I'm way too lazy to keep updating as the year goes on, so I just add cool music annually.
It'd be helpful to know what kind of music you typically listen to and enjoy. Here are some staples that NEVER leave my iPod, in one form or another: -Led Zeppelin -Pink Floyd -Black Sabbath -Megadeth -Metallica (their old stuff, anyway) -Motley Crue -Beastie Boys -NWA -Eazy-E -Geto Boys (only a couple of songs, but they're still there) -Various classical selections from Mozart, Chopin, Beethoven, etc. I've recently added Skinny Puppy, The Shins, Miles Davis, Billie Holiday, John Lee Hooker, Tripping Daisy, and a bunch of others. I want to snag some of Ice Cube's stuff, too. Edit: forgot to add that I always have Johnny Cash, Hank Williams Sr., Hank Williams Jr., and Hank III as well some George Thorogood and the Destroyers, which might very well be the coolest name for a band Ive ever heard. Good drinking music, that.
Karen O is doing all the soundtrack for that movie I think. By doing I think I mean arranging because in that superb trailer her name shows up in that list of dozens of names that show up at the end of a trailer.

You could look in the "what are you listening to" or "what's in your cd player" or whatever it's called thread and get a few million ideas.
I wouldn't say "no on knows who he is". He's had multiple charting singles and has performed live on national TV on several occasions, including the finale of #1 TV show in the country last season, American Idol. Having said that, you are right: he is STILL underrated, and is very, VERY good, especially live. He definitely has a spot reserved on my iPod.
