Perhaps the only female conservative pundit I find more grating than Coulter is Michelle Malkin. However, if one wishes to criticise "hypocrisy, distortion and half-crazed rants", they would be wise to not quote the pathologically truth-challenged David Brock.

Wow, I'm glad she got fired. I never heard of her until I read about a speech she made to young conservatives in Washington. She said, and I'm paraphrasing, John Walker Lindh should be executed to scare Liberals because they will know that they can be killed too. Pure evil.

Wow. There are lots of women (and men) whose opinions on various issues differ from mine, but I don't feel the need to personally slander them.

By the way, conservatives (and other non-liberals) come in all genders, ages, shapes and sizes. :)

Problem with Liberals and Conservatives is they are more interested in attacking and defacing each other than they are about solving problems.

Tell me about it. I can't stand liberals or conservatives. They really screw up elections. Its like only having the Spurs and Jazz to root for in the NBA finals. Sure there may be a few other options early on, but they're usually the Warriors and Grizzlies and thus won't win jack ****.

Man, if I cared about politics as much as basketball I'd probably shoot myself...

screw up elections??? people who care enough to have an opinion one way or another on a topic are usually the only ones in this country to show up for an election....i'd hate to see the turnout rate if the law said, "no conservatives or liberals can show up to vote today!"

villify the party system all you like....the fact is, there are some age-old debates about the role of government in your life. if you're not paying attention, you probably won't take a side.

Yes, screw up elections. Like this:

    Vote: Democrat- Idiot Dumbasson

    Vote: Republican- b*stard McCrackhead

Everyone else: Cool intelligent individuals who aren't gonna win a damn thing.

And you know why "everyone else" loses? because a bunch of people like my parents and friends and family go out and vote strictly along party lines instead of seeing what the person they're voting for is all about. I mean, hell, some of them don't even know the people's friggin' names! ****, doesn't make much sense to pick a side if you don't even know if its the right one.

I'll admit, there are many times where situations are vice-versa and the party guys are okay and the others are idiots jumping in for no good reason, but not very often.

Also, I'm not villifying the party system, I'm talking about the dumbass people who see it as a blueprint for their voting habits. Fine, have a party, I don't give a damn. I just wish there were some more people out there who weren't so quick to affiliate themselve with a party and actually based their opinions solely on their own judgements. That won't happen though. Hardly enough people care about politics as it is. 'sigh' I've been a rampant voter since I turned 18 and I'll continue to do so, if only so that i can have a legitimate right to b**** about the senselessness of it all.

    What, not invited?

Seriously, an election is a forced choice. Otherwise you would for reduced to writing in your name on the ballot for every election held if you wanted to vote for someone who agrees with you up and down the line.

Casting votes is an approximate activity. You can vote for Nader rather than Gore, but you're just helping someone else get elected. In the end, every vote not cast for Gore is a non-Gore vote.

The two-party system makes a vote simultaneously offensive and defensive. Weird.
