Agreed, the man worked his ass off and deserved every last standing ovation he got. For a man who played 17 full seasons out of 19 and like nolimit said shot near 50% doing it is remarkable.

Definitely not. I wouldn't boo or anything, but I would definitely not clap for him.

Rockets fan, depends on the situation... not a play offs game... but yes to season... the guy was classic. I don't think there is any reason to hold a grudge against one player unless he's gotten to aggressive with your team.

    Well said.

Malone is a scumbag on and off the court. Stockton was only dirty when he played. And his dirtiness did not seek to injure people like guys such as Malone and Bowen did. So yeah, I have some respect for Stockton.

    I'd applaud.

My feelings for Stockton has always been a mixture of love and hate. He's definitely dirty. Not on par with Malone but still tries to get away with tons of crap.

That said, the guy is literally the perfect textbook PG to ever play the game. Watching him play, without Rockets colored glasses, and it's so enjoyable to see a point guard play the position the way it was meant to be.

I would.....no doubt, I could not stand him when he played, but half of my ovation would be the relief that he is retired...

    Wait, hell the **** NO.

Ever since his damn ****ing 3 pointer in 1997 we have been nothing but heartbroken year after year since. Ever since that ****ing 3, NOTHING has gone right for us.

**** NO. **** him, his dirty ass tactics, and his damn 3 point shooting. **** both him, Malone, Hornacek, Ostertag, and Sloan.

    **** no!

the jazz fans actually gave drexler a standing ovation in his last game ever.... and if we are not as classless as we say they are then I suspect we would possibly give stockton an ovation

Moving screen? More like hugging Clyde Drexler like he was his long-lost brother.

Stockton is a great player, but the only way he would have been getting an ovation from me is getting up after getting injured out of respect for all injured players.

I would say the hatred is a one way street. They probably don't care for us as much as we hate them.
