It's not even funny actually. Injuries to this team are like butter and toast.

Due to unexpected financial difficulty, Les sold the Rocket team to a buyer from Shanghai during the season (a rumor said that the buyer is actually Yao Ming himself!). Immediately following that, the Rocket team is relocated to Shanghai, becoming the first NBA team from outside North America. The inter-continental NBA games are finally established. I knew cracking on someone for spelling would come back to haunt me, damn

it! Oh well, the biggest tragedy this season would be if some how we make

the playoffs, go out in the first round, and don't get a top ten draft pick

after this wasted year. Even if Tracy comes back healthy this team is not a

contender, so i just hope that some how we are bad enough to have a

chance to go another direction via the lottery.

SMITHFIELD, Virginia - In a late breaking story, on the evening of September 5th, almost the entire roster of the NBA basketball team Houston Rockets was discovered in what has become known as the "Michael Vick dogfighting house" trying to revive the infamous ring. It was revealed that player Shane Battier "inherited" the entire enterprise from Vick after Vick's arrest and was working on increasing NBA player membership. As he was taken away in police cars, Shane was heard to yell that he was "all about the money" and that police on the scene needed to "watch their backs". No comments could be obtained from David Stern, but it is highly likely that all Rockets players found there will be suspended.

The only Rockets players not on the scene were Brian Cook, Brent Barry, Joey Dorsey, and possibly PJ Ramos (alibi unconfirmed).

In a related story, the Rockets signed former player Ryan Bowen to a 5 year contract this morning.
