Ron Artest now friendly with John Green, Piston fan who threw beer on him

NBA Dish. Ron is an entertaining guy. I wish Tracy could have been healthy last year...

 

Yeah Nba dish. Ron is funny. But hes not a Rocket. Therefore it isnt as funny as it used to be. just annoying now.

 

Hell, the slower people in the group can even talk about ex-Rocket Tracy Murray.

 

They can, but not Ron Artest... Tracy Murray has earned that priviledged distinction...

 

Ron is still the interesting entertainer, even though he's not with our team anymore.

the Ron haters, you know you love this stuff if he were here.

 

He was a mercenary, he has now taken his bogus basketball act to LA and will screw up another team with his zaniness.

Ron is wild and erratic,but he is a nice guy. Not many people would do that.

 

Artest may be the single most goofy personality in this league outside of Shaq. Does anything really surprise you?

I don't see how his antics rub anyone the wrong way. Aside from going into the stands, something I probably would have done if a beer was thrown at me, he seems perfectly lovable. All the quirkiness is fine by me. He is in his underwear on the bus? Great, who cares? Sounds fun. Like a great way to lighten the mood on a team that had a monkey on its back. He can do no wrong in my book. I much prefer a crazy off the wall personality as opposed to his narcissistic Jordan-Complex teammate who likes to enforce his authority rather than jeopardize his ego by raping people, taking cheap shots on players (Miller, Manu, suspensions) etc...

 

Well if you're LA, you don't have to choose anymore.. you got both covered.

 

Artest is an unfortunate soul, but funny. Despite him hating the Rockets I still like the guy's antics. Makes the off season worth watching.

 

Can't believe people are bashing him or doing whatever they are because of this. I think what he is doing is good.

 

Well I can already see his antics blowing up in LA LA lands face this season. I cant wait to see that unfold. Good Riddance is right.

 

Rodman once went to Vegas less than 24hrs before a finals game. Zen Master will have control of things. Probably use Artest to motivate Kobe somehow.

 

Takes a big man to do that. Seriously. I congratulate Ron on actually putting forth the effort to extend the proverbial olive branch. Seriously, much respect for mending a fence and salving what may have been an old wound.
