I can just see it already, Shaq vs Ming, Francis vs Kobe. Cuttino against the whole Laker team. :) It is going to be a great season next year and I hate it that it is still roughly 4 months away. I hate the offseason. At least we have a football team now.

I think we have a pretty deep team now and a lot of folks that can score. I still havent given up on Rice and a healthy Taylor back in the lineup will help offensively. Last years weakness was that we couldnt find someone to hit the open shot on a consistent basis. Nachbar, Rice, and Taylor should provide that. Another weakness was defense for which I hope they improve on next year. The only player we need now is an enforcer and we will then be set. We someone to come and throw his weight around and bang.

We have a good mix of young and veterans now I believe. Man can you see Ming and Griffin in at the same time? How about a Cato and Ming? As much as everyone bashes Cato, I think he will still get plenty of minutes and even start at the beginning of the season. He might have something to prove now and might be motivated.

Well I got my season ticket invoice in the mail today and I know I will be returning it with my check real soon.

Hehe, I think LA v. Sac.

Sorry but Houston's got to make the PO's before thinking of facing the world champs in the opener.

But hey, you might be right. Who knows?

I agree Lakers vs. Kings will be the late game but I'm 70% sure the Rockets game will be picked up for the early game due to the Yao factor.

I hope that it's not against Lakers...that would be a disaster waiting to happen with Shaq and Yao. I'd rather he get a few games first before facing him. Maybe we could play Dallas on Opening Night in Houston. Yao gets to beat up on Sean Bradley and we get to bring some focus onto Texas. We match up well with Dallas and the games are usually exciting.

    Opening Night NBA 2002-2003:

    Dallas v Houston

    LA v Sactown (late game)
