Jent - Mark Reynolds has played in San Fran's last 4 games and is healthy. Needs to be activated.

LH - Pablo Sandoval played every game this weekend and no longer has a green dot. You need to activate him.

 

I change my lineups every Monday as I'm not on the PC much on weekends, which is when Pablo played.

Playoff situation: Rook and LonghornFan will finish as the division winners. No doubt about that. Playoffs will be by record: 1st vs. 4th seed, 2nd vs. 3rd.

4 teams are currently fighting for the 2 wild card spots (PSJ, Expos, jent, Aliens) and they are all playing each other this week! If both jent and the Expos win, then they cannot be caught and will claim the spots. However, if either PSJ or the Aliens win (or if they both win), then it will end up being a 3 (or 4) team race for the 2 spots right down to the end.

 

Thank you Roy Halladay. My offense now is beyond bad. I do not see me making it out of the first playoff round. A big FU goes to that 1B for the Twins. God is he horrible right now. Losing my all star SS isn't helping matters either.

That's how I felt last week after scoring 225 against Smeg, only to lose by 5, following a 6 point loss to LH.

Fun close to the regular season. Thank god for the wild card, since the division races were over so early.

 

I hate you, LonghornFan. I hate Chris Carpenter and I hate you. To hell with the Rook rivalry. He and I are BFFs compared to how I feel about you right now.

 

Smeg and PSJ: you are both now out of RP games. After the match this week, I will subtract any excess RP points accumulated after this point.

Smeg: Valverde (14) + Rivera (14) = 28
PSJ: Broxton (14) = 14

 

Damn, I though 125 was the limit on RP, that's why I only started one.

My offense is sucking, my pitchers are getting hurt, and I lost my all star SS. I'm not planning on leaving round 1 anyways.

 

I didn't get a chance to go through the pitching games this morning, so I'll have to wade through that mess when I get home tonight and adjust lineups accordingly where necessary.

As things stand right now, it looks like jent and Sam will claim the 2 wildcard spot unless the Expos win AND the Aliens lose their last game. That does not seem likely, however.

Thank god for football.

After the season ends, we will have a roundtable discussion about the future of this league (changes, etc..).

 

I was in just this situation last year and lost the final game, letting I think LH into the playoffs and keeping me out of it. So keep your hopes up, knowing my luck.

 

I still can't believe Jent made it in while not having any starting pitchers the last few weeks and still getting wins. Crazy.

Fade- I believe I only had two starts left to reach 155, so I should be good.

 

After modifications, the final score of the Smeg-PSJ game from last week is still a win for Smeg, albeit a closer result. Final score for that game is 148-142.

Some people are starting more SPs than they have available games left. I'll do my best to stay on top of it, but it would be helpful if you would keep track of exactly when you run out of SP games (or RP games) and let me know at that point.
