Ok- I realize everyone has fully exhausted the whole Rashard Lewis thing already, but I was wondering if someone who seems to know what they are talking about---Peopeye, Clutch, etc--could try and some things up for me. Heres the vibe I am getting so far.. 1st- Rashard initially seemed to be looking for a money deal, making any contract with the Rockets impossible. 2nd- Rahsard also harbors bad feelings for the Rockets, obviously going back to his disheartening draft day but now... 3rd- This has seemed to change somewhat. Rashard now seems to have Houston at the top of his list (what someone said on another thread), and while although still unlikely, his playing for the Rox next year is not entirely unlikely. Is any or all of this true? If Houston is at the top of Rashard's list now, where does one find this information? I mean, what are the sources, if any? The reason I ask is because as a Houstonian, Rashard obviously seems to hold a somewhat special place in many of our hearts. Somewhat reminds me of whats going on with Alton Ford. I really could not care too too much about the UH basketball program and didnt know who Alton Ford was more that 3 months ago, but I can tell you I will certainly remember his name for a while now. Finally, Rashard seems to be a glowing gem in the NBA. If you ask me, he is quite possibly on the verge of superstardom. The way he has transformed so quickly from the young man we all saw on draft day to a budding star has been quite remarkable. SI even has a little snidbit on him in their new issue. So please, anyone feel free to explain the full and complete intricacies of the situation, salary cap, Rashard's motives, etc, etc to the best of your ability. Imagine the Possibilities Hakeem Cato Swift Thomas Lewis S.Ander S.Ander Mobley Francis Moochie Thats an athletic line-up (Hakeems a ? for athletic) But this line-up can run, defend in the post and on the run. This will just be an amazing lineup. Imagine a frontline of Hakeem, Cato, Swift and Lewis...thats a large front line that could handle Portland, LA etc. And a backcourt of Mobley, Francis and S. Anderson......That could be nice! ------------------
