I'm going to add Game 3 vs the Knicks (1994) Sam Cassell's ice 3 also Yao's first game vs Shaq was pretty exciting too.
There are only 3 or 4 quadruple doubles accounted for in NBA history. So I think Hakeem's is in contention.
when McGrady shot the game winner against Dallas during game 2, i thought that moment would be the beginning of multiple championships in the Yao-TMac era.
Right up there sharing the top of a very small group of my greatest Rockets moments as well, crash, but you forgot that the Lakers killed us in game one in LA, making the games that followed all the more remarkable, because we were written off before the series started (including being written off by Fran Blindbutty before the playoffs even began). After game one, we were supposed to roll over and die against the defending champs, similar to when Yao went down last season in the LA series, yet we came back and smoked them, with Ralph's shot for the ages as the capper. Good times!
An upgrade over the Steve Francis Era. Dribble dibble…dribble dribble dribble…and then dribble some more…
10) 17th January 2003 vs. Lakers 108-104 OT - First Shaq vs. Yao meeting - Legendary game simply because Shaq got his first 4 shots blocked, two / three of them by Yao after talking smack before the game. The Career high by Francis and late three to force OT only made it better. 9) 9 December 2004 vs. Spurs 81-80 - 13 in 35 secs - Greatest miracle by a Rocket since Maxwell's days of amazing Game Winners and Buzzer beaters 8) 2009 WC 1st Rnd Game 6 / WCSF Game 1 - Yao finally out of the 1st round and showing how great he is by coming back in game 1 to win it for his team 7) 30 January 1992 - Olajuwon block's Michael Jordan's last shot attempt to secure the victory 6) 1995 WCSF Game 7 - Kiss of Death - The big payback by Elie 5) 26 January 1991 vs. Cleveland 103-97 - Maxwell with the rare 30 points in a quarter 4) 29 December 1994 vs. Warriors 126-124 - Who could ever forget Maxwell's miracle GW three pointer while falling out of bounds 3) 1994 WCSF Game 3 - Maxwell took it upon himself to start turning Choke City into Clutch City by scoring 31 points in the 2nd half 2) 21 December 1993 @ Spurs 90-88 - The 22-1 start was something magical and Maxwell tying the game with a three and hitting the tough fadeaway buzzer-beating GW made it even sweeter. 1) 1994 NBA Finals Game 7 - How sweet it is !! Totally forgot the streak and probably beat Olajuwon's block on MJ or maybe Maxwell's 30 points in a quarter but the rest stands.
Nice SamFisher.. Are we forgetting the 40 point nights by Drexler and Olajuwon in the playoffs? Same game?
