Does anyone else feel like we need a 3rd PG?

i feel we need a scorer, without tmac at 90% + we don't have anyone to draw double teams and torch people night in and night out, we have a great group of guys, but without yao, tmac, even von or ron, we are going to need some really beautiful adelman offense to win this year. not that it isn't possible, this is a good chance for adelman to prove his stuff, but i would like for us to get a 2 before we go out for another 1, i like our pgs, small, tough and quick

We need a shooting guard. We have Barry as third pg.

PG? Shoot, that's one of the two positions I actually feel good about, the other being the 4. Like others have mentioned, way more pressing matters at the moment, like getting a 2 guard that isn't 11 or 45.

I think SG who can play PG part of the time, ala McGrady, would work fine.

It's highly ironic.. our two weakest positions are the ones that we have the most money invested in (C and SG).

Scolandry is fantastic at PF, Shane/Ariza is solid at SF, and Brooks/Lowry is respectable at PG.

The Rockets are a very ironic team.

you nailed it right on the head. The 2 and the 5 are by far the weakest spot.

Agreed, I've said it several times now that we have the SF position nailed down but not the SG position. We need to bolster the back court with a honest-to-god scoring threats. Courtney Lee comes to mind (if he were available, read: he's not happy in NJ).

If one of them goes down like Bob Sura, Dion Glover, T-Mac, or Yao, it would leave you with 1 PG and Shane Battier or Ariza playing backup PG for 15 minutes a game.

yeah and imagine how many shot clock violations and turnovers we would have...whats wrong with ab and lowery. They seem like a good tandum to me. We should just keep the fricken team the way it is and see what happens this year and youll know how good we'll be next year IMHO.
