I know we have plenty of time to shape out the roster and as it stands we already have to many players under contract but I would like to see the Rockets add a 3rd PG. We don't have traditional options for Center or Shooting Guard right now but we have plenty of versatility where we can swing guys between C/PF and SF/SG but I'm a little concerned at PG. Brooks and Lowry are solid but I think we should be looking to add a veteran back up for insurance should Brooks or Lowry miss any time. Outside of McGrady (when or if he is back) and Barry (if still with team at start of season) we don't have anyone else on the roster that could be considered a ball handler or set up guy. What do you guys think? Which veteran PGs are available?
We still need an upgrade in PG. I never felt satisfied with the idea of Lowry being the 'upgrade' over Rafer. More than anything though, this team needs a play maker.
not enough roster flexability for a third pg. If one of our two pgs goes down with an injury, we will make a move when that happens.
How about a SG, As of the moment the rockets have only one true sg, and hes undersized, and a rookie. J.Taylor.
Let's trade for Kirk Hinrich! He's such a novel trade target, I've never heard/seen anyone advocate this one before... But seriously, there are other priorities that trump a third PG
A guy i like alot is CJ Watson from gsw. Evereytime i see him play, about 20 times last season, he makes good decision, he can shoot the 3 and midrange, just a really solid player. Not to mention that he's also young.
