    To be fair, he did pitch against a watered-down little league team today. That being said though, he still looked sharp. We'll see.

    Smoltz is still Smoltz. Will he be able to keep it up? Only time will tell. It was a low risk, high reward signing wit the Cards in contention.

    5 innings against the Padres doesn't really mean anything. He is Felipe Paulino so far this season.
