Except I only remember him scoring from jumpers. That was even when Yao was out the year before last. I'm not sure he's that much of an upgrade. I would be more interested in Miles.

Unless we are dealing Scola - then we do not need or want Boozer.

Forgetting questionable charachter for a moment, he has had his health issues, and doesnt seem like a player prepared to play with any kind of pain....I for one, have seen enough of big money players who aren't able to go 'when the going gets tough'.

I would never ever want him. Deron Williams is (pretty much) the only player from that team that I'd feel ok about if he was here

Why do you believe him that there wasn't handshake deal in place? Why would the Cavaliers have acted the way they did unless there was a deal in place? It makes no sense.... he lied and is not a man of his word.

Also, he is not even that special a player. His defense is mediocre and he is hurt all the time, not to mention he will want a huge contract after this season.

No thank you... Boozer has conducted himself as a loser, there is a reason the Jazz don't want him back

Couldn't agree more. Besides just not liking the guy, he's way more expensive and has had injury problems. Does anyone seriously believe Jerry Sloan would want to replace Boozer if he didn't see problems with his game and/or his health? They kept Malone, like, forever and didn't pay him peanuts. If Boozer was "all that," they would keep him. They certainly wouldn't do a deal with their arch rival, not unless they felt they were raping the Rockets.

    I'll pass.

I hate Boozer, but he is an upgrade over Scola. He is a legit top 8 PF in the league.

I'd offer up Scola/Battier for Boozer/NY pick, assuming he signs an extension. If we can resign McGrady for seven to nine million, we can roll out an extremely potent starting five next year:

    Brooks/Lowry
    McGrady/Taylor
    Ariza/Budinger
    Boozer/Landry/Hayes
    Yao/Anderson/Dorsey/Pops

with 2 potential lottery picks, depending on how we fare this year.

Scola and Battier are probably my two favorite players on the team, but this definatley makes us better in the long run. I can't even imagine what Morey could do with lottery picks.

I don't have definitive proof, but think about the clues. Utah offers boozer 68m and turns it down for 700k. Later on, he agrees to 41m. League investigates, voids the contract, takes 3 1st rd picks and suspends the gm for a yr. Is that really worth it? Ask kg and mchale if its cool to lose those picks.

The whole idea for me is getting another expiring, the better player, and 2 sub 23 yr olds.

Ummm... Me personally, I think Carl is a tradeable asset. I love the guy, great heart, athleticism, and fire BUT... I would never trade him to Utah! He has the ability to be a Rocket killer!! No way... :)

yeah i like Carl Landry to but if we can get Tyrus Thomas and a new york's pick and draft someone like Derrick Favors i would do the trade in a heart beat...after the three team trade trade i proposed earlier the possible 2010/11 lineup would look like this.....

    Aaron Brooks/ Kyle Lowry
    Trevor Ariza/ Paul George(Rockets Draft Pick)/Jermain Taylor
    Shane Battier/Tyrus Thomas/Andre Kirilenko /Chase Burdinger.
    Derrick Favors(New York's Draft Pick)/Luis Scola/Chuck Hayes
Yao Ming/ Brad miller/ David Anderson/ Joey Dorsey

Chuck and Dorsey can battle it out for the last roster spot....:D
