I just did my mock draft, and Woods didn't end up in the top 15. He seems to be this year's meteoric dropper. Where do you guys think he will go? Should we take him if he drops to 15?

Here's my mock, complete with descriptions:

Well, for Woods it all depends on what happens with Butler. I don't see the Warriors or Grizzlies taking Caron. I think the Nuggets will be smart and pick Tski, so if Butler can get by the Cavs, which I give about a 50/50 shot, he would fall all the way to #10. I can't for the life of me think why the Knicks would take Butler. Then, the Heat take Butler rather than Jefferies, and the Wizards take Jefferies rather than Woods. Then, I can only hope and pray that the Rockets will take Nachbar over Woods. I think he's the safer choice.

And here's my FINAL mock draft (unless I hear some big news)

DCkid, I like your mock a lot. Those are pretty much the exact picks I would make myself if Butler got past Cleveland (the only exception being Welsch over Rush at #14). I'm inclined to believe that Cleveland will try to go with the big guys they got, though. People were talking earlier about the possibility of Butler going #1 a few weeks ago.

At this point, it seriously seems that Woods could go anywhere from #10 to Miami to the early twenties somewhere. It will be very interesting to see where he goes (I'm kinda hoping we don't take him, but I wouldn't be infuriated).

All excellent reasoning and subjective picks - spot on. Woods - a month ago, he was the 2nd coming of Tracy McGrady, now he's on a fast boat to the 2nd round (unless it stops suddenly along the way out of the 1st round). As far as the Chinese screwing things up, well....they might give us a heck of a scare. Things should/will fall into place, as will Nachbar at # 15 and Savovic at # 37. Check back with me Thursday morning.

He'll probably go to Minnesota in the second round.

What is with meteoric falls out of the lottery for guys named Woods? If there is another guy named Woods coming out next season, I'd advise he consider changing his name.
