lol... this isn't because I was just bored (i am not a fan of useless offseason threads- i typically ignore 1/2 of the threads posted in the GARM over the summer), I'm thinking about getting an olajuwon jersey, and I can't decide which color. I mean while white is good, but it always has the threat of being easily stained.
Always had a dream to have a game room type place, or maybe a theater, and on one wall have Olajuwon, Thorpe, Elie, Maxwell, Cassell, Horry in white. On the opposite wall in red would be Olajuwon, Horry, Drexler, Elie, Smith, and Cassell. One day...
If I was going to buy a jersey I would get the red one. Every team has a white jersey, and back then the jerseys looked a lot more similar. Red is a bit more recognizable. That being sad, this thread really highlights how lackluster this offseason is.
I didn't vote. Honestly, both uniforms bring back so many good memories that I couldn't pick one or the other. Thank you everyone that still sports an old jersey from time to time. Always brings a smile to my face.
RED!!!!! I have the red away dream jersey and the away dream PJ's and i gotta say that the red away dream jersey was one of my best purchases with regards to rockets gear. I still wear it occasionally and when i do i get mad props.
If I had to choose I'd go with red. Most of the best memories from the 2nd title run were with the team in Red so those unis have always held a special place for me.
