You're asking a guy that can't wake up on time to do all that? You may want to just start with "First, don't wet the bed".
Drink some water before going to sleep. Waking up with a full bladder is a good motivator for getting out of bed.
Go to bed at 1 in the morning at wake up at 3 in the morning......thats how i get by, its a gift really work and school, ugh.... I'm the genius who decided to take a class at 6:00 in the morning this semester, thinking i could handle it, I'm kind of regretting that.....
Who is earyl? If he's a contributing member, we will help you wake his lazy *ss up. He said he wanted to wake up earyl, not help him with his sex life, man. C'mon... help him wake the dude up. How was that, CRIMINAL?
I use 3-4 alarm clocks. One of which HAS to be on the other side of the room so I have to get up. It gets the job done.
I did this before. Go and do a sleep study (mslt + polysomnography). You may discover that something is medically wrong. Maybe you're not getting enough oxygen for example. Don't eat for a few hours before you sleep. Have a lot of water in the day time. Exercise as early as realistically possible. Eat less red meat, drink less alcohol. These things will improve the situation for sure. How many hours of sleep are you currently getting?
Personally before I go to sleep I just tell myself 'Ok, I'm going to wake up at 6 am tomorrow' and then I usually wake within half an hour of that time. I've only overslept once or twice.
I had the same problem.. My fix is set your alarm at a time where u know I either get up at this time and get movin or I'm gonna be late. Don't set your alarm so you can hit snooze twice and still have time. Make sure your alarm is loud enough for it to wake you up and its not where you can hit it in a half sleep put it half way across the room. Also tell yourself the alarm goes off I get up no exceptions. Also a good idea is go online and find a alarm clock called a screamin meanie. Its super loud and takes pushing a button combination to turn off. This make you have to think to turn it off.
After years of using an alarm clock, my body wakes me up now. I can wake up every morning without one. This can sometimes suck especially when youre on vacation.
i'm the same....i'm horrible at this. one thing that works for me is setting multiple alarms-3 on my cell phone and one alarm on the nightstand. i know in the past, i would just turn them off instead of snooze so i never use that function. also, i do have sunlight coming in and that usually gets me. i fall for cloudy days! also, i turn the tv on too when my alarms go off so i'm kinda listening to the traffic, weather, news, etc and they say the time like every 5 minutes so i have an idea of how late it is.
I do everything right but I still CAN'T wake up before 7. I go to sleep at 11ish. It is sooo hard trying to wake up when my guy is sleeping soundly. He needs to go back to work soon!!
Put pressure on yourself to be on time to wherever you have to be in the morning. I also usually think about exactly what time I want to get up right before I fall asleep. That way in the morning that's the first thing that pops in my head when the alarm goes off. I typically go to bed anywhere from 12-1am and wake up at 7:45. Set my alarm for 7:15. I'd like to be able to set it for the actual time I want to get up but I don't think I've ever gotten up without snoozing at least once.
