Update: I have received additionally cancellation e-mails so I think they are making their way through the orders.

No. Once I read their website, I knew they were going to cancel the orders. That is why I ordered a ridiculous 10 TVs! Some places were reporting that they would offer a discount to some customer, so I thought that might go through. But no harm, no foul. I get my money back and they keep their TVs.
I doubt this drives away any of their customers. lol. If anything, then this was some free advertising for them. Hell, they are a main story on CNN and headline news today. It's like this has never happened before or something. I betcha that someone ended up buying this TV anyway...maybe cause they were so homed in on the fact of owning it for this ridiculous price...they had to have it anyway because they already saw themselves owning it. It wouldn't surprise me.

best buy was in some heat when they advertised a lower price online and the price changed at the store. false advertising isn't new for them
