LOL, Actualy the Dutch are very sacastic. Most people from other countries do not get us. I hope you are right, and he was being sarcastic. But I have seen many post of him the last couple of days, and they all showed the same opinions. If he was being sarcastic he could have shown it in any of those posts (A smiley does wonders). Furthermore the things he said are very similar to what Bigtexxx, Basso and T_J say all the time. So pppbigppp, if you were sarcastic I appologize.
They don't want to afford more military. That's the funny thing. America is so proud of their military, and the EU is happy to let them keep it that way. To them it's a win win. They can spend their money on social services and let America worry about the military. They spend their money on more vacations, cultural landmarks and events, taking care of their poor, education. Those things are good to them, and the fact that Americans puff their chest out about the military only makes it easier for them.
Its hilarious watching morons shouting I dont want my country to be like such and such place, hahahahahaha, mentioning countries they have vaguely heard of and know nothing about. Top on the list are France, Sweden, Russia. I bet it would be a shock to most Americans that quality of living is way higher in those countries they seem to have a distaste for.
