I think Brooks Is going to have a break out season this season with that said its either him or Scola......

How awesome would it be if Brooks made the all star team with all the Yao supporters backing him up in the ballot...... :D

Speaking of that, this will be the first year that yao wont be selected as an all-star right?

As long as Landry stays off the roads in Houston, late at night, he'll be ok. Actually I say that for the whole team, we don't need anyone shot again.

i look for brooks to push his ppg to around 18-21 but what i really want to

see is him getting those assist numbers up to 7-8 a game maybe a couple

steals and rebs a game would also be nice. he needs to utalize his speed on

the D end more and pick up his bb IQ a little.

Scola will increase his scoring, rebounding and probably his assist averages. He would have more touches and most team might just focus on Brooks leaving him open or with just single coverage. Brooks' drive could also create scoring opportunities for him.

I can almost guarantee that. It absolutely NEVER fails, no matter who is coaching. Some nut even started a thread to have him fired AFTER the Laker series this year. Batman Jones practically blamed the Game 7 (or Game 5 maybe) loss on Adelman.

Btw, that Brooks alley-oop was my 2nd favorite play of the year, behind the Wafer game-winner in Boston.

Brooks, maybe. Brooks has the potential to become a premier point guard in the league, it might be to early, but we'll see.

Scola has shown to be a consistant player that can average a 20/10 if needed. Of course, he never stands out.

If He is back then of course He will have the best season. He would have the the control of the team. ( basketball wise ) Offense will run through him and the defense will run through someone else. :D

Scola is the most consistent Rocket. With Yao Ming out, he'll get more touches and could even average a double double. And he never misses games so he's durable.

The problem is Scola usually doesn't get enough touches.

With this predicament, He sure will. He is the only proven low post threat. Teams will adjust to the drive and draw or drive and dish of Brooks that they would need to set up a low post play to keep the defense confused.

I picked Trevor Ariza. I think he has something to prove and will provide pretty big numbers across the board and be a surprise this season.
