how close are we to the 48 hrs

    it seems we are geting close to that 48hrs houston said they needed do you think they are going to be more flexible (like 48 minutes:) )

    In China time, we are over but here in Houston we are around 51:19 left till the draft.....its getting close!!!!!

    Oh, I think the Rockets will probably shorten that deadline a bit, especially if at, say, T-minus 36 hours and counting the CBA is typing up the FIBA clearance.

    You got to think that China is enjoying the attention a little, too.

    Its almost 4am in China, everybody is asleep, but if things are so urgent, they should be negotiating right now no matter what.

    T minus 51 hours remaining till the draft!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I better put on a diaper, I just cant stand it anymore! :p

    If the draft is Wed at 6:00 48 hours would be Mon at 6:00

    i was mainly wondering what the rockets are thinking, we havent heard anything out of them with their 48hr limit (i think they will go down to the wire if they have to) about to pass.

    If the letter comes in the last hour, do you really think the Rockets will pass on Ming just because of the deadline they failed to meet.

    I like Ming and all, but this has gotten out of hand. With the CBA demanding that the NBA give an assurance letter this has become too risky. I say we trade for the 8 and 12. Imagine what the Mavs would be going through right now had the NBA signed a letter promising that Wang would be at all national team events.

    T minus 22 minutes until the 48 Hour Mark....

    It is 6:38 am in China right now, so I assume we will get some news soon about that clearance issue from FIBA & that other letter/ discussion about National team games.

    The Rockets can't wait until an hour before the draft. If Ming is not available, they don't want the #1 pick. Teams trading up will have other deals inplace by then. It would be embarassing to draft JW and then shop him.

    Draft him anyway, and work it out after the draft, if things take a while, so what? You still have his rights forever.

    I am not sure that the Rockets did not get enough to satisfy them already. I don't really expect to hear anything from the Rockets between now and 6pm Wednesday. They probably need to keep quiet in case they have to make a draft day trade.
