Its best to give the rookies the chance and not add anyone that did not make the roster last year. The team spent so much to obtain the rookies, might as well see what they can bring.
Best vid of Budinger I've seen, though the level of the competition can be questioned. It definitely shows his skills of shooting, athleticism, passing and handles. Let's hope he's more consistent than Boki, that's what held Nachbar back.
I just read some of the comments on that video. "He's like Novak with skills", "He's like Padgett with hops", "He's like Bird with athleticism". Why do all comments about Budinger have to follow this formula? "Man, Budinger's like (insert random white guy) with (insert attribute that makes him a completely different player than said random white guy)". I wish there was a rule that said you can't compare a white basketball player to another white player, you have to compare him to a black player. I think that would make these Budinger discussions a lot more interesting. Personally, I like the Glen Rice comparison (in terms of playing style, obviously, not in terms of actual talent/productivity)

lol he loves the two handed slam- must not have a good grip on the ball. and he doesnt seem very assertive in his leaps- he goes up very gently.
Glad to see rox sign a multi-year deal with him . chase impressed me in SL . I thought he is better than boki, offensively. It's a good comparison with brent barry. James white is a goner sooner or later..

Eventually they will have to trim the roster but they don't have to guarantee White until after training camp right? My guess is he's likely out by the numbers then though.
