That can mean decades more. Or 2014 when their lease runs out. Or if another buyer comes along in 5 weeks he'll toss in his house in Memphis as a sweetener.

Memphis can have Elvis and the Titans! I hated Bud Adams & still do to this day, but it's fine. Memphis can have the Oilers - I've adopted a new team "Da Bears"- where I was born, and although they suck...at least they didn't move.

Maybe some day I'll defect and become a Texans fan, ;) Go Da Bears!

The Titans are in Nashville, not Memphis.

Not sure what Memphis would be complaining about. At least they HAVE an NBA team, which they shouldn't given their market size. The fact that it sucks shouldn't really matter.

Besides, Memphis can always hope for some miracle of drafting a Lebron and DH12 back to back, so they can be competitive even without trying.

Heisley doesn't have a great record on keeping teams where he says he'll keep them....

    He is not hiding it.

I hate that pulled crap. Their ribs are OK, but I prefer them dry.

    Brisket >>>> Shoulder

disagree... Memphis BBQ is better for ribs... while Texas better for brisket.

The Titans originally moved to Memphis from Houston, until Adelphia Coliseum was built.

More trivial facts: Bud Adams was born in January 3, 1923 and is the owner of the Titans.

And my original statement was in present tense, so you weren't correcting me. The Titans ARE based in Nashville today. Yes I knew that the Oilers/Titans moved to Memphis temporarily at first because their new stadium wasn't built. I went through that whole crap of when they moved out of here. The laugher was when that preseason game was called off because the Astrodome turf was deemed "unsafe".
