i think this may be the 2nd season that i'm watching. sucks that ronnie is gone. i hate those people who pretend they are the good guys. doesn't look good for ronnie's old crew though. i hope that michelle and russel both go home soon.
When did it start there? I remember often hearing that the USA didn't have a BB...they often used to show clips or mention many other countries, especially the UK...and actually I did watch one ep in the last season here (2007) purely because Pam Anderson went into the house for 2 days. She said herself that "they dont have the show in the US"
Jessie is gonna go home on Thursday and it's going to be hilarious. It will be the second time he's voted out by America. Can't wait to see his face when Jeff puts him up. Oh and Chima is going to go off on Jeff Thurs. She keeps talking about how shes going to start **** and production won't stop her, lol.
lol she called him a bigot yet she calls Russ a terrorist. btw, a good site for updates and spoilers: http://jokersupdates.com/
What was that all about? Everyone seemed to jump all over that dude and I don't recall him saying anything. They hardly even focused on him until he was voted off. Shima implied that he said something racist. Did it happen off camera? And how does this power Jeff has actually work? I know he can take down anyone who is put up, but does he also get to decide who takes their place(s)? Does he decide who goes home? Or does America vote? Just not sure exactly how it works.
He can replace one or both noms - sounds like anyone but HOH or Veto winner can be put up by him. After he does, house has to vote right then to send one of the new noms home. I think he also can still compete for HOH while Chima can not, but I'm not sure about that.
I can't help but laugh at the ego on Jesse... when Jeremy Piven popped up in the house to promote his new flick... before he left he said "i'll see you guys on the outside" and suddenly Jesse thinks Piven wants to hang with him and says "so how do we take you up on that? how do we contact you?" You can see Piven is flustered beyond belief by this question and says "don't worry about that - i'll find you" Jesse seriously thinks Jeremy Piven wants to do incline presses and chug muscle milk at Venice Beach with him in 2 weeks... that is just frickin' funny! and yeah - i'm addicted to this show. i'm still upset that Lori was kicked off in week 1... not much of a face, but good god what a great rack! oh and there are nudie photos of Jordan circulating the web... just search for them... what a spectacular body!
It was during that fight he had in the backyard with Lydia where Kevin jumped in. They heavily edited it for tv. He was angry and arguing with Kevin who had just jumped in and did use a Mexican slur aimed at Kevin. Of course Kevin is a self described "Blasian" with no Mexican heritage, though Lydia does. It was wrong of him but it was the heat of the moment and Chima saved her "outrage" for days later when she thought she might be voted out on the live show. It's funny because nearly everyone in the house at one time or another has used what might be considered a slur or at the very best indelicate language with Chima being the chief offender. Ironic.
kevin's an ******* for not using the veto on lydia. jessie and natalie are going up tomorrow and i can't wait. chima will be left in by herself because michelle will see the power shift in the house and abandon her. and all will be right with the world.
I think Keven was smart not to use the veto on Lydia. I think there is an "unspoken" rule in BB that you must respect the HOH's decision of who to put on the block (unless you are on the block and use the veto on yourself of course) or else you're the next target. Kevin knows that Chymia wants Russell out - especially after their 2nd big blow-up - and that Lydia is as safe as one can be (sure, no one is 100% safe - I'll grant you that). But with Russell's volatility, he's not making any friends - and with his blow-ups at Chymia, the HOH - Kevin is certain that Chymia has told everyone to vote Russell out. Why make enemies with Chymia (and thus with Jesse and Natalie) when he doesn't have to? Using the POV on Lydia at that point would have been more ceremonial and more detrimental to his game than helpful. Lydia is staying... Russell is out the door. Of course everything I wrote is moot since Jeff is gonna **** some **** up on Thursday!
i guess i don't watch enough big brother and i'm influenced by the fact that i know neither one of them are going home anyway. i guess he just didn't do a very good job of explaining that to lydia (that we saw on television).
Agreed. I mean, what would be the point? First of all, Lydia is safe. She's not going to get voted off anyway, so why would Kevin put himself in a dangerous situation when he doesn't have to? Second, what's the point of having Lydia on your side? She is totally worthless as a player. She's not aligned with anyone, she has never won anything, and she has been put up on the block almost every week. Why would Kevin want to align himself with her (as a player)? Only thing I don't understand is why Kevin was trying so hard to win POV if he didn't plan on using it. Why not just throw the competition and then you don't have to worry about any backlash from anyone. Russell said he needed to mend fences with Michelle - then he starts a fight with her? What was he thinking?? I don't blame him for going off on Chima, but why Michelle? She could be a swing vote. And did you see Russell try to throw Jeff under the bus while talking to Jessie? He swore on his Dad he wouldn't backstab Jeff. Wow... You are CORRECT, sir. Found 'em last night. Two words - landing strip.
well, we all know russell's a hothead and he knows that she straight up lied to his face about what she said about chima. when that segment started i knew it was going to end in disaster.
I did enjoy watching Russell and Chima go at it. It was like watching two 5-year olds arguing over a toy. Sheesh. Russell hasn't exactly endeared himself to female viewers. Seems like he's gotten into it with every female in the house. Can you say future wifebeater?
not natalie or jordan (or laura for that matter). he also got into it with jeff and ronnie. chima/michelle were both deserved as was lydia. dude's just a hothead.
There has been talk around the house that Michelle, Lydia, and Kevin were "floaters" and not really playing the game... they're not taking sides, they're not winning competitions, etc. In BB history - floaters have always been despised - and Jesse/Natalie/Chymia have made it clear that they despise floaters. I think that's why Michelle and Kevin were so happy that they won competitions in the last week... They knew they were gonna get sent home soon for "not playing the game" I have watched WAY TOO much BB over the past 8 years!
Yeah - that made NO sense at all... But what has boggled me the most of recent events is the fact that Michelle OUTRIGHT lied about what she said to Russell but has some how came off scott-free in the aftermath as Russell and Chymia have butted heads. Michelle, did in fact, lie through her teeth about what she told Russell... and only Russell seems to care. She said Chymia was gunning for Russel early (and they had the video to prove it was true). If Russell had handled it properly - he could have spun it so that Michelle was on the block this week because she was trying to drive a wedge between the four-headed alliance that was Russell, Chymia, Jesse, and Natalie. But he lost his temper (yet again) and is now on the block for it. Michelle is one crafty SOB who seems to be getting fitter and more tanned while in the BB house (and thus winning over my loins) Oh - and Jesse crying about not getting a chance to play POV last night was hilarious. Hey Jesse - your alliance put up one of its own in Russell... why the **** would he trust you to help him? Though it did put him in the awkward position of possibly outing his alliance with Jeff. Now Jeff is in an interesting position. Does he publicly align himself with Russell, who is probably the most despised person in the house? That's probably not a great move. If I were him - I'd think about taking Lydia off the block and putting Jesse up. The votes would probably be: Natalie - Russell Chymia - Russell Jordan - Jesse Lydia - Jesse Kevin - Jesse Michelle - wild card - but if Michelle votes out Russell - Jeff gets the swing vote and knocks off Jesse. The biggest threat in the house is neutralized, Natalie and Chymia's alliance could fall apart - and Jeff takes power position in the house - with Russell, Jordan, and maybe Michelle in his alliance.
