But I found a piece of news on hoopchina which says a friend of Chase Budinger's just learned from Chase personally that he and the Rox had come to agreement on his rookie contract. Official news may come out later. It was just a matter of time before He gets signed. Taylor was signed last week and it would have been a surprise if Chase was not signed after his performance in the summer league. Great news for the Rockets. Hopefully more bench production from Chase.
I'd guess so. I think he'll get released soon enough so he'll have the opportunity to sign somewhere else. Unless there's a deal in the works. In this case either his contract is needed to make numbers work or roster space will be created.
It kinda sucks how we signed James White for a year and never used him... even in garbage time he barely got to play.
He will have to earn it during training camp and the pre season games. Roster spots would be tight as the rookies are being signed and the competition will be tough.
Hope He turns out to be like Carl Landry. a surprise package that delivered in the regular season and even all the way up to the playoffs. Delivering significant contribution at that.
Yup.... Matt Bullard that can jump out the gym. I can't think of a single white player that reminds me of Chase's game. Rashard Lewis might be a closer comparison.
