    Ok - so I have a theory. And it goes a little somethin' like this.

    (hit it)

    Gaga is a massive Bowie fan right....well remember his Ziggy Stardust
    charachter...Ziggy's gender was debatable and could go either way.

    Gaga creates the answer to this by allowing rumours of this kind to establish a mystique and an intrigue about the 'charachter' that is Lady Gaga.

    Bowie fans ate up the Ziggy charachter, and Lady Gaga can attribute the intergender rumor to her onstage brand.

    Its pretty air tight.
