oh god! Don't curse John with ending up a Clipper... we would never see him play to his potential again.

He'd probably snap something like Livingston or something equally nasty.

No I'd rather he end up in Memphis than be a Clipper. That's just cruel. At least then we would see him in the highlights occasionally.

lol I know the Clippers have struggled when it comes to drafting players, but lately they have done a pretty solid job at drafting. Al Thornton and Eric Gordon are looking like those were good picks and if Blake Griffin lives up to expectations then maybe just maybe things are changing in Clipper land.

I hope your kidding, the hype surrounding this guy is similar to Tyreke Evans a few years ago, and Dajuan Wagner before that, and Sebastian Telfair before that. My point being that tanking for a 15% chance at getting this guy is about the stupidest thing a middle of the pack team like us could do right now.

He's in a different league then those guys. Dajuan Wagner was an undersized SG. We will also never know what he could have become due to all the physical problems he had. The majority of scouts thought Telfair should have went to Louisville for a couple of years. He does everything better then Tyreke Evans. I don't see any similarities there.

All this being said, I don't condone tanking.

I agree, this video was not worth posting. Stackhouse wasn't even the primary defender. Number 1 and 4 did their best matador defense and let Wall get by them. Wall barely got above the rim despite getting a running start from past the FT line.

I'd like to see Wall try that again after the veteran (missed block) but connect elbow to the face on that dunk.

It's cause he can't. Explosive and athletic, but needs a jumper. Hopefully he will develop it.

this is another video from the NC Pro Am... all JW

He's either 11 or 7 depending on the game... but most of the time he has an arm sleeve thing on.

Man this kid has some handles! That hesitation/crossover dribble is brutal. what about a young Stevie Francis? Fair comparison?

More intelligent, better court awareness, better passer... but maybe close to the same athletically.

Like someone else said earlier, Wall reminds me more of Wade. Let's see how he does his one year at UK.

In his prime Francis was a real good passer he just didnt look for his team mates enough. Im still amazed at some of those moves off the dribble though.

yeah, but Wall seems to have better court vision and is a more willing passer.....with that said i would say a comparison of a more longer and taller and less selfish Steve Francis could be a fair comparison..... :)

    AND

About the whole tanking the season thing, i think we should try to be competitive and if we get to Mid season and were far from contending for a playoff spot we should go ahead and dump the rest of the season and try to increase our chances to get the first pick, we were 28-54 the season before we got Yao with the first pick

Classic case of "guard gets beat, help defender gets dunked on". Any Rockets fan should be well aware of this because it's happened to Yao about 4,000 times. There's no shame in that.
