    So, I heard "I Want You Back" by N'Sync on 104.1 (go figure) and had a major, WOAH I heard that song about a zillion times growing up moment. In honor of my memories, I say we try and find the most annoying song of the 90's.

    Was gonna add some songs for enjoyment. Then I thought...

    Annoying is bad, true. At least there was a sense of "fun" still left in the 90's. What do we gain from fully devoted artistic integrity, a bunch of armchair musi critics and people taking their expression way too serious and cutting off their ear like Van Gogh? Sorry, give me Ace of Base over that crap any day of the week.



    Anyways, gosh this song annoyed me like crazy

    Annoying, at least to me, is when someone blatantly takes the essence/riff/etc.

    My personal ones have always been 4 Non Blondes/ vs Bobby Mc Ferrin's Don't worry be happy vs What's Up?

    The other is Belinda Carlisle "heaven on earth" being a blatant rip-off of Bon Jovi "living on a prayer."

    There are others, but I'm amazed at how few people notice the copying until I bring it up.

    i agree that 90s beat 00s in quality of crappy pop, i liked a lot of this stuff.. and prob still do. But

    That LFO song is probably the worst song ever. So bad, it's catchy. But the lyrics are all over the place. And his insistence on finishing any word that ends with -er as if it ends with -ah is less than cool. If I didn't know better, I'd think the whole thing was made up by Rappin' Dad (credit to Lance Z for Rappin' Dad)

    You have all left out songs by Ace of Base. Seriously. Bad.

    LFO wins hands down. That song sucks ass. I do like some of the songs posted so far, including "No Scrubs" and "One Week." Hell, I could listen to "One Week" every day. Great song....

    I agree, I'd probably listen to most of these if given a choice even. I thought it was more nostalgia than anything though, but hey I love the 90's!
