I like the Penn fight but that Silva knockout was suspect to me. And wtf was up with Forrest Griffin running out of the stadium?

Maybe they are pulling reverse psychology on us.

Griffin quit cuz he realized he wasn't going to touch Silva and didn't wanna get beat down anymore. Silva is in another league... that head movement is ridiculous.

well if thats true that makes sense. nobody would want to get even touched on the face if they had a dislocated jaw.

 

I read the same thing elsewhere. It would make sense. I can't see Griffin running out like that for no reason.

LOL @ the guys thinking the Silva fight was rigged. Did you guys not notice Griffin get rocked at least 2 if not 3 times before the final KO punch?

lol at ppl thinking that fight was fixed. And theres no reason for the UFC to fix that fight. Forrest is one of UFC's poster boy. He is even on the cover of their video game.

Forrest is a nice guy but he's been lucky that he hasn't been exposed this badly before. He just does not have the physical tools to be elite in the sport. Silva is an example of what happens when a guy in MMA actually has a natural striking ability. The sport is evolving and attracting better athletes.

Florian lasted much longer than I thought he would vs. Penn. I can't wait to see BJ destroy Diego Sanchez next.

 

I dont see where all these "rigged" comments are coming from...Forrest was getting his ass handed to him the whole fight. He took a lot of shots to the face and was obviously fatigued and a little wobbly before the final blow.

 

if there's one thing to complain about it will be Silva seemed to be pulling his punches / taking it easy /showing mercy to Griffin
