Nov. 15: Houston at L.A. Lakers -- With no Yao Ming and no Tracy McGrady, you can mark this down as a Lakers W now. But for Trevor Ariza, it's a chance to show the Lakers what they missed when they earmarked their free-agent dollars for Ron Artest instead of a guy who helped them win the title.

    Rockets or Houston?

Given no chance to win before the season even starts...just the way I like it.

We have practically no chance to win unless we magically get a superstar.

Because there's NO way for a star-less Rockets team to beat the Lakers...

Love it give the team no chance. Hasn't the league/media learned that the Rockets are a "Team" that plays with heart and passion and that is what will get the team into the playoffs this season. You can book it!

Lakers got swept by the Bobcats last season...and ever since the Bobcats franchise was established despite never even having a team good enough to make the playoffs in the east they still have a winning record against the lakers.......

maybe we could be one of the non-playoff bound silent giantkillers next season...

It would feel GREAT to get a win on their home court.

But I just CAN'T see it happening.

you can have all the heart and "team" in a team, but without the talent you just won't make much impact. sure the heart and passion will stretch your talents to produce better results a little bit but at the end of the day talent is talent and is what makes a team better than another.

we simply don't have enough talent this season to make much noise and make the playoffs. however knowing how passionate and hardworking this rockets team is gonna be, we will win a few unexpected games that the media would have never thought likely.

A lot of that heart and passion last season came from Artest and Wafer...
