Heh, no, in fact I open this thread up saying Im from Hawaii and California (last place) But thxs for the answer I'll look that up. Wife has family in the south (Txs and LA) and price of living is cheaper down here (and Htown Rockets a big bonus)
I'm bumping this 'cause I'm hoping that DaDakota can give us directions to this spot at Lake LBJ.
I don't mind Galveston. It's worm and brown 'cause of the Mississippi and the Gulf Stream. But it's also an hour away. I'll go to the Jersey shore if I want to travel. What? I have family there. Also, worst President of the United States. Oops. not D&D.
went to santa monica beach last night not the best beach in cali but one of the busiest it was fun just sitting back drinking and chilling listening to live band performing on the pier.
South Padre Island is my favorite for many reasons, but it's so far. We are going to Mustang Island in two weeks. We went there on 4th of July weekend and it was really nice. Mustang Island is just south of Port Aransas on the same island.
Joe, I think you were thinking of a wave pool, with simulated waves. Yes, Spashtown does have that indeed.
Hey Drox, I am not sure where the public beaches are, we own a house with one...but I think they are around there still.....it is the Llano river portion of the Lake. DD
Nope. DaDa was talking about his own private property. I looked around Google maps for a lakeside park area in the Llano river area or something like that, but I didn't see anything. I think I'm gonna take the family to Surfside on Sunday. We've never been there. I hope it's nice.
