It's funny we were all wondering this at the end of the 90's. Now this decade is almost over and it still has no name. We usually use the "2000s" which works now, but how will it be distinguished in the future?

I call them the 1900's but that is a tad bit incorrect.

 

I guess it would be the 2000's then...

 

I've been thinking of them as the aughts since they started. In 20 or so years, it will be very old-timey when I talk about it to my grand-kids.

 

I think it should be called the "Preteens" or "Tweens".
