Luther Head. Is it me or people just blame Luther because of his performance in the 07-08 series against the Jazz? Everybody have up and down periods. With a little work on the handling, it's not too late for Luther to become a star reserve in the league. Luther is a stand up guy that deserves nothing but our best wishes. I doubt anybody truly misses him, though.

I still remember the comparisons with Deron Williams. That's because they're good friends. I think he didn't do well as a PG, he's a shooter, spot-up shooter who needs little space for him to get him going. I remember when TMac went out one year against GSW Luther chipped in with carrer high 30! Also he once started instead of TMac, I think last year and helped Rockets to win vs Spurs with solid 21 points. He just isn't the type of player that plays point guard and seemed to do fine in Miami but obviously they don't need him. He's solid bench player, I hope he gets a contract in the NBA.
I think it had more to do with Utah being a really bad matchup for Head, but yeah, it was really weird how completely he disappeared. It wasn't like he couldn't hit step up on some pretty clutch shots during the regular season. And though I liked Head and I wish him luck in the league, I don't particularly miss him.
