Its not about ricky davis as much as it is about getting good value for shane and another expiring contract. A lot of people on this board always say camby is just a weakside shotblocker which is false. He's a good on the ball defender and he also defends the pick and roll well also. He's also a great passer from the high post and would be able to cover for scola and landry on weakside. He's a good guy, leader, lockerroom guy also. He can help the rockets stay in "it" if that's the gooal. Ricky Davis hasn't had any problems for 5 or 6 years yet his name is still mentioned as a knucklehead. He had a piss poor yr last yr coming off a very good yr the yr before. Over the last few yrs, he has been very efficient offensively. At 6'7 he can help hold the forte along with chase and maybe even Von until the mythical return of tracy. The clipps might not do it because they could probably get more for camby.
well its not like we can get an all star come 2010 like everyone dreams about even with t-mac's contract coming off the books we cant sign an all star like joe johnson, wade, or lebron, ext. your acting like stephen jackson is a awful player he can give you 20 on any given day... it would be worth the gamble already knowing were not gonna get a all star in 2010.....
Probably involves streamlining the roster and clearing cap space, which would obviously point to Shane being shipped out, perhaps for an expiring.
Minor Move: Outlaw, Webster & Rudy Major Move: Two words.....RICKY RUBIO.. Possible Players Lost: Tracy Mcgrady, Battier, Cook, Barry, Burdinger(hoping we don't), Brooks(hoping we don't), and Landry(hoping we don't)....pretty much anybody on the roster PS. Best time to trade for Rubio would probably be now, since we have a whole season for him to develop into the starting point guard...

I doubt Morey would ever break the news on a trade unless it was a slip of the tongue. Anyway this thread is about future moves he mentioned broadly which was seperate from the annoucement he had planned.
Could be the minor move. I am hoping for a surprise move. A move that no one else expected but logically it could basically just be the signing of the rookie/s.
