Play it like what? For fun? We used to have to play it in school. We always wanted to play Frogger but they made us play Oregon Trail instead.
If you use a cheat code, you enter Deke mode and you're unstoppable: (Just some old photoshops I did from the GARM photoshop the playoffs thread.)

LOVED that game! Joe has been bitten by a snake and died. Sarah has Typhoid. Can you still get that game somewhere?
Oregon Trail was greatness. Sometimes me and some friends will still play it or Carmen Sandiego online for fun. Ah... the memories. HATED Number Munchers though. Stupid math.
When I first got to the 'States, I played this game on an apple IIe . That's where I learned "computers" were cool. I also learned from my ESL teacher, Ms. Rivera about computers, and "don't touch anything while the disk drive is working... DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING!" PRRRTTT. PRRRRTTTT! PRR-RRRTTT. (that's the 5.25" disk reading )
It's a strategy game about the evils of mass production cattle farming. No matter what strategy you employ (increasing antibiotic payloads, decreasing hormone therapies, cutting the price of Jr. Whoppers), the giant blue piles of poop keep piling up. Unfortunately, the "trail" always leads back to the Oregonian peoples' water supply.
Wow...times sure have changed...I remember going to the library to hop on the computer so I could play. I think you had to stop by the service desk first, and ask for the floppy disk lol.
That was a great game. Ahh such memories... Like only wanting to go hunting and then overkilling the buffalo population and being unable to drag all the meat back to the wagon.
