The Rockets worked out David Bluthenthal, a 6-7 forward from USC and UH's Patrick Okafor today. They must be working out guys just for practice if they are bringing in players like Okafor. Man, talk about coming out of nowhere. From what I've been told his conditioning needs some work.

George Williams is still expected to workout over the next few days.

thanks for the info oldschool. ive been told by a few u of h players that there is more to the George Williams not staying in school thing, then just wanting to turn pro. They say he couldnt have come back regardless but wont elaborate.

Last I heard George will be in to workout on Sunday along with Fredrik Jonzen from OSU and Bostjan Nachbar. I've heard nothing about Maybyner Hilario that Clutch mentioned but I've been wrong many times before. I guess they are going to work out all 4.

The Hilario workout news came straight from the Rockets, so I would hope they got that right. I will double-check to confirm, but they wrote both Hilario and Nachbar on Sunday.

Well you should.... Hilario was not there today :)

I've got the info sent directly from the Rockets media staff Thursday- Hilario and Nachbar on Sunday, so either there was a miscommunication there or Hilario cancelled today. I knew when Old School hadn't heard anything on it that something wasn't quite right -- I trust Old School about as much as the Rockets (seriously). I don't think he has ever made an inaccurate news info post.

You would think something was going on because with so few stars next season, he would have a pretty good year stats-wise.

    Thanks, Clutch.

    I heard that too.

I also heard Nachbar lit it up...hitting something like 24 of 25 3 point shots at one point in the workout.

24 out of 25 threes?!? Man, I hope this guy lasts until number 15. Ming and Nachbar sounds like a damn near perfect draft to me!

Didn't Rashard shoot something like 24-25 from 3? Anyways, that's damn impressive, but we don't need the Rockets bragging about him in public. Definitely don't want Washington stealing him..

FYI - Rockets say Hilario had a conflict in his schedule and couldn't make it Sunday. It's "uncertain" whether he will be in before the draft (though since the draft is in 2 days, it's not likely)
