gone are the days that GMs would sign a player because he was part of a championship team :)) , not...Yue doesn't have what it takes to remain in the league, atleast he won a ring before being released

    wow,

7 pages of posts for a scrub that has shown that he couldn't fill the shoes of Coby Karl.

    go figure

lol, i can not believe that there are some ppl on here that would prefer yue over brooks!!!!!

yue couldn't break lakers rotation, that means fisher and farmer are better than him. brooks made both fisher and farmer look utterly silly in the playoffs, so the way i see it, brooks to be better than both of them.

i comprised this formula for those of you that have a hard time reading:

    brooks > fisher > farmer > yue = brooks > yue

and lets not forget that this will be brooks' 3rd season, which usually is a breakout season for nba players. all this asinine requests for brooks to be traded need to stop.

its goin to be a long 3 months if these are the types of topics that are goin to come up!

only reason i can think of why he hasnt really translated well as an NBA pg is probably his english isnt that good. as a PG you need to be vocal. probably had a hard time understanding the coach and telling his teammates what to do.

id invite the guy to training camp. maybe yao can help him somewhat

Another reason might be he isn't talented enough for the NBA.

ur have no idea what ur talking about.

on the day of his introduction to the media as the newly signed Lakers last Sept/Oct, Sun (without an interpreter) fielded questions flawlessly, extemporaneously, with complete Engish sentences. His English is way better than Yao is (now).

dude, i was assuming. didnt you see the words 'think' and 'probably'? i dont watch the lakers.

and a lot of players are in the nba who shouldnt be there, skills wise or bball iq wise. i still would like to see yue get invited to training camp and see what he can bring especially if he has yao there to boost his confidence.

    obviously
    name some
why would any NBA team invite someone so deficient in NBA-level skills. w him on the court, the opponent can play 5 on 4 and dare Sun shoot from the outside, which he, seemingy, always misses.

He can't shoot and still needs to work on his handles.

The biggest issues is he can't shoot.

Sun would be a good backup PG.

The only Sun we should go after is Amare or Nash.

Yea, all the players that shouldn't be in the NBA are scrubs.

There is no need for Yue. He is unproven. He isn't really athletic. He's just not talented enough. We have a solid PG rotation with Brooks/Lowry. Both young.

Lowry would DEFINITELY be a better backup.

He would probably be a good back up someday but not with the Rockets. The team has a back up already and the most important thing to fill right now is the center position. Front court help more then back court help.

He almost got caught up and had low elevation on his dunk despite being almost a foot ahead and taking 3 steps........

I think he can still be good, but I'd like to see some more footage of him playing in an actual while being a smooth operator. I mean any body can look good in a highlight in scrubby competition. I mean look at Chuck Hayes's offensive game.
