It seems ANT doesn't even need Scola to win this game.

Scola had a nice dunk off a behind the back pass earlier in the first quarter

Who is ANT's center (#6)? He seems to be pretty good. Maybe the rockets should sign him.

His name is Roman Gonzalez, and hes been a part of our national team since the 2006 FIBA world championship. He has size (about 6'10) and some good moves at the low post but hes not athletic and has slow moves. I dont think he'd play consistently at a NBA competition level.

Gonzalez seems to have that John Amaechi "manboobs" loook.

Scola is playing Yao's role in this game. He is always doubled and able to find open teammates.

From the bit I saw of the second half, Scola looked good. Particularly his court awareness and passing. He also made some nice buckets around the hoop.

A taste of what He has to face next season. The talent of the competition is not the same but the concept of being the main man in the low post would be a good test for him.

Including at least 1 left-handed hook shot.

I can almost hear Matt Bullard now...

Good to hear scola playing well, but let me say something. They aren't going to double scola, he's not good enough. Teams will double brooks before scola. The lakers this year and Utah last yr didn't double scola and he shot 42% against La and 44% vs Utah. Another thing is, at what point doesw the extra basketball begin to catch up with him?
