We have no need to sign Bruce Bowen. LOL. You can only have so many defensive stoppers.

Wow. I'd be really excited about this...if it was 3 years ago when Bowen could still actually play :D

Don't the Bucks want their young players to learn how to undercut other players when they take jumpers?

I'm just hoping he DOESN'T return to the spurs. I'm hoping the other 28 teams as we have no need for him sign him.

bowen is worthless on this team without Yao, even if this was Bowen of 3 years ago

This has a Mycdess written all over it. I don't know what the Bucks were thinking when they got Bowen but glad I'm they cut off the dead weight. The Jefferson trade still makes me cringe at the thought of playing them this up coming season.

The Spurs are probably the only team interested in him. :D He knows their system and has a great relationship with the team.

Yeahhhhh----sign Danny Ainge too-----he can hit people in the head with the ball to complement Bruces tricks getting under people when they go vertical..........

Possibly but The Spurs are still his team. It would be a surprise if they did not sign him.

actually i thought i remember bowen saying that if he does get bought out/waived that he WOULDNT be returning to the spurs.

he really got no playing time at all last year thanks to roger mason jr and i think he felt insulted by that or something.

i would be surprised if he does go there.

he should go to cleveland IMO and be their stopper off the bench when lebron is out of the game

    omg

the last thing we need is a "defensive stopper"...especially one that is past his prime

We need people who can score

Bowen is washed up now. He was bad last year. The Spurs don't want him anymore, for good reason. His fuel gauge is on "E". He is no longer a "stopper".

I believe Yoyo's correct. I remember San Antonio media saying he would not be resigned.

The rumor when he was initially traded was that Bowen had a falling out with the Spurs after not receiving his usual playing time the previous season.

There's no reason why some other team won't pick him up so that he can give a few opposing players via:

    tripping
    stepping on feet
putting his foot under a jump shooter's foot
kicking people in the Achilles tendon
    kicking people in the face

    am I missing any?
